The data elements are located in the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) section 30.6. The data elements identified as “mandatory” shall be reported for each transaction. The data elements identified as “conditional” shall be reported if required for or apply to the specific shipment. The data elements identified as “optional” may be reported at the discretion of the U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) or authorized agent.
