The European AIS Database offers all users the following types of data: 1. Original & processed messages international NOTAM covering worldwide (including ECAC). 2. Worldwide static data used for NOTAM validation and PIB generation. 3. For the ECAC area, EAD includes the AIP, Amdt and Supplements, AIC and Charts as well as the complete set of static data contained in the state’s AIP. All the above mentioned data – except the complete set of static data – have been available via EAD since it started operations. The complete set of static data contained in the EAD AIPs is being completed, with more being added as various ECAC member states migrate fully to EAD. The database will reach maximum effectiveness by the end of 2006, when all ECAC-based data providers will have successfully migrated.
