What Dashboard Confessional CD Should I Get Next?
I actually disagree with the other answerer on AMAMABAS (which is the first time I’ve heard it abbreviated that way… nice….). To me, the whole essence of what Dashboard is is found in his earliest albums. He started off with just him and an acoustic guitar, heart on his sleeve, singing stuff people could relate to and sing along with. Well, the first couple of albums have a lot of repeats, but many of those versions are really touching. I would suggest looking them up… but first I would suggest getting the Mtv Unplugged album. First off, yes, there is an audience, and yes, they sing along. Quite frankly, that’s what you get when you go to a Dashboard concert though, especially the earlier ones – there’s a lot of audience participation. I think it adds to the atmosphere, and I’m not usually one who likes live versions of songs!
