What Cybil Shepherd project centers on Smith College?
Did you miss the movie Mrs. Washington goes to Smith with Cybill Shepherd last night? The Hallmark Channel will repeat it tonight, August 2nd. The film, titled in reference to the classic Jimmy Stewart movie Mr. Smith goes to Washington, tells the story of a divorced woman, Mrs. Washington (Cybill Shepherd), who goes back to school, Smith. In what seems like an odd choice to include in the What To Watch section, a movie rated with a C, a TV Guide review says, “Don’t let the TV movie’s clever title fool you: This drama -starring Cybill Shepherd as a middle-aged woman who heads back to college -is slow, predictable, and cringeworthy [Ouch.]. Several of said cringes are for Shepherd, who looks strartlingly dumpy until the inevitabe midmovie makeover.” You have a chance to form your own opinion on Mrs. Washington goes to Smith with Cybill Shepherd tonight, August 2nd, and on Friday, August 7th at 9pm EST at 9pm EST on Hallmark Channel.
