What currently is the tallest man made structre in the world?
The CN Tower, at 553.3 m, is still currently the tallest structure ever built. The Burj Al Dubai will be the tallest when it is completed. EDIT: I stand corrected. I didn’t think about oil platforms. If I’m not mistaken, though, that the height of the platform includes underwater structure. As far as elevation goes, the CN tower is still the tallest. I suppose it’s rather like comparing the Hawaiian volcanoes and the mountains of the Himalayas. Mauna Loa in Hawaii is considered the tallest measuring from base to summit, but Mt. Everest in the Himalayas is tallest in elevation. Thumbs up to MikeBlas.
