What currencies should I carry with me to Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria and Germany?
Actually the euro zone does not include Poland, Hungary or the Czech Republic. For these countries you’ll have to exchange dollars or euros for the local currencies, which can be a pain. The upside is that your money goes a lot further in these countries. A casual meal in Austria or Germany can be around 8-10 euro while my friends and I had a multi course dinner at a fantastic restaurant in Budapest for less than that per person.
