Actually the euro zone does not include Poland, Hungary or the Czech Republic. For these countries you’ll have to exchange dollars or euros for the local currencies, which can be a pain. The upside is that your money goes a lot further in these countries. A casual meal in Austria or Germany can be around 8-10 euro while my friends and I had a multi course dinner at a fantastic restaurant in Budapest for less than that per person. Have fun and definitely grab a guidebook to do some reading before you leave (I recommend Let’s Go for good advice on what’s cheap and worth seeing).
