By authority of Section 528 Of The 1996 Water Resources Development Act, the Plan to Restore America’s Everglades, or Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) identifies specific, critical water quality related projects that are essential to the restoration of the Florida Everglades. SFWMD, along with other agencies, including the Army Corps of Engineers, participates in many critical restoration projects affecting Coastal Ecosystems.
