– Level of commitment to fantasy photography. – Strong and developed artistic style. – Proficiency of photographic skill, including an understanding of principles of basic photography. – Proficiency in any and all method(s) used to achieve fantasy effects. (May include the following: digital editing, traditional dark room techniques, costuming, and any other techniques used to achieve the final image.) – Photos must be composed of photographer’s original work and may not be created from another photographer(s) and/or artist(s) existing work. – Originality/creativity of images. – Variety of the portfolio. – Artistic merit and/or achievement (i.e., We are looking for more than just master technicians — we are also seeking artists with a creative spark in their fantasy work.) – Must currently be working to improve and expand their portfolio of fantasy photo work.
