What criteria does a new resident have to meet to live at Mayberry Gardens?

In our Type A homes, the resident must be ambulatory. An ambulating device such as a “walker” or wheel chair may be used, however, the resident must be able to do so unassisted. The other important criteria for a Type A license is the resident must be able to understand and follow directions in the event of an emergency. In our Type B homes, residents need not be ambulatory. Our staff provides assistance 24 hrs. a day to the residents in getting in and out of bed, going to the restroom, dinning room etc… Of course, since any emergency proceedures would require staff assistance to the residents in a type B facility, that is not an isssue.
