Amanda Brumfield, 29, was indicted Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child in the death of a 1-year-old girl she was babysitting in Ocoee. Brumfield’s lawyer asked that she be given a bond amount and allowed to leave the jail. The judge denied the request and ordered her to continue to be held at the Orange County Jail without bond. The long estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton has been charged with first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a one-year-old girl who died under her care. Back in October, Amanda Brumfield told cops the child died after falling from her playpen — but detectives had a hard time believing her story because it wasn’t consistent with the little girl’s injuries.
