What CPU speeds were available for the XPi CD?
Dell released a Pentium MMX 166 MHz (M166ST) version, followed by a Pentium MMX 133 MHz (M133ST) version (to lower the list price). Both utilized a front side bus of 66 MHz and a PCI bus of 33 MHz. Prior to the M166ST, there was the Pentium 150 MHz (P150ST) version, which had no MMX capabilities, used a slower FSB and PCI bus (60 MHz and 30 MHz, respectively) and had a slower CD-ROM (6x, as opposed to 10x). In addition, the maximum RAM for the M133ST and the M166ST is 80 MB, while the max for the P150ST is only 48 MB (although I’ve been told you can max the memory to 80 MB — see the RAM section of this FAQ for more info).
