Psychiatrists, NPPs, and Physician Assistants can provide Psychotropic Medication Treatment (90862) which is pharmacologic management, including prescription use, and review of medication with no more than minimal psychotherapy. However, symptom management can also be done as part of a regular psychotherapy visit with any of the listed licensed professionals.
