What courses qualify for CPD?
The Board approves “Sponsors/Providers” of CPD activities; however, the Board does not approve particular courses or activities. A course or activity does not have to be presented by a “Board-Approved” sponsor/provider for the registrant to claim credit for the course or activity. It is your responsibility to determine if the activity meets your CPD needs and to maintain documentation adequate to support your decision to claim credit for the particular activity. You may claim PDH credits only for activities which conform to the definition of “Acceptable Activity” as defined in Section 3103 of the Rules of the Board — “subject matter which is technical in nature or addresses business management practices, professionalism and ethics, quality assurance, codes or other similar topics which facilitate the registrant’s professional development as a professional engineer or professional land surveyor, and/or serves to safeguard life, health, property and promote the public welfare” These acti
