Admission into the Skagit Valley College RN Nursing Program is based on competitive admissions. All interested students must meet minimum qualifications in order to be considered for admission. Minimum qualifications include: • 3.0 or higher Science GPA in required Science prerequisites • Human A & P I (BIOL& 241) • Human A & P II (BIOL& 242) • Chemistry (CHEM& 121) • Microbiology (BIOL& 260) • 3.0 or higher GPA in all required nursing prerequisites • Includes Science prerequisites • English Composition I (ENGL& 101) • College level math or higher (WMATH 100) *Higher level math is required for those wishing to continue on for BSN or Master’s degree. See specific college for entrance requirements.
