What courses are required to major or minor in sociology?

0

Major (36 hours): Students must complete and earn a grade of C or better in Soc 100, 380, 382, 402, and 492. The remaining 21 hours are Soc electives. At least 12 of these 21 hours must be at the 300 or 400 level. Minor (15 hours): Students must complete Soc 100. The remaining 12 hours are Soc electives. At least 6 of these 12 hours must be at the 300 or 400 level. Please note that some courses count as filling two requirements, but they do not count double in terms of credit. For example, Soc 100 counts as a core curriculum requirement AND as a requirement for the major and minor. However, taking this class will earn 3 hours of credit.
