What courses are required to complete the accounting program and acquire a Master of Science in Management with an accounting specialization?
The program consists of 36 credits: 18 credits in graduate-level accounting courses and an additional 18 credits in core business courses in nonaccounting areas. The 18 credits of accounting courses consist of ACCT 615 Capstone Accounting Course and five of the remaining seven track courses as outlined below. Students beginning their studies in the fall 2003 semester and thereafter are required to take ACCT 615 plus a core of three courses (ACCT 608 Fraud Detection and Accounting Ethics, ACCT 610 Financial Accounting and ACCT 614 Accounting Information Systems), and two electives from the list of remaining four accounting courses.
