What courses are acceptable as prerequisites for the BScN-After Degree Program?

0

As outlined in section 15.11 of the University Calendar and in the Program Descriptions section of the Faculty of Nursing website, there are specific prerequisite courses that must be completed in order to be eligible for admission to the BScN-After Degree Program. If you did not complete these courses as part of your first degree, you may complete them through an institution and Faculty/program of your choice. Often students in Alberta will do so through Open Studies at the University of Alberta, through distance learning at Athabasca University, or through another institution that offers university-level courses. UofA alumni may also be able apply as a Special Student to the Faculty where they completed their first degree in order to complete these prerequisites. These courses must be completed and transcripts received by the document deadline for the term you are applying for.
