What course should I take if I need Math 119 or other 100 level math course to transfer, but not Math 46 or Math 96?
Enroll in and receive a credit grade for Math 15C (algebra/geometry). Then ask Professor Kater or the current Math 15 instructor to prepare a departmental final Math 96 exam. If you score 70% or better on the final exam, the instructor will complete a faculty initiated petition to waive the prerequisite. When the petition is approved, Records will contact you. Bring your CSID to the Records Office in A-109 and they will add you to the class. You’ll need to pay for the course right away, if appropriate.
