What course should I take if I need Math 119 or other 100 level math course to transfer and I also need Math 96 for an AA degree?
If you need Math 96 for a specific reason such as an AA degree, then you must take Math 96. Math 15C does not meet the requirement for an AA degree. However, you can use a Math 15B course along with a Math 46 departmental final exam to bypass Math 46. So, if you need Math 96, but not necessarily Math 46, you can earn a credit grade for Math 15B and pass the Math 46 final exam with 70%, in order to bypass Math 46, then take and pass Math 96. You will not receive credit for any class that is bypassed.
