What counts as a “Signature-Based” Visa Debit transaction?
Your signature, not your PIN, is the key to a signature-based transaction. At the merchant: • Swipe your MCU Visa Debit Card • Select “Credit” (you may have to hit “Cancel” first and then “Credit”) • Sign your sales receipt. In some cases, like at the gas pump or for a low amount transaction (like at a fast food restaurant), you may not be required to sign anything.
