What country first abolished the slave trade & what year?
Google William Wilberforce of Great Britain. He was the pioneer abolitionist. (year, mmmm don’t recall…) Slave trade still persists in many parts of the world, mostly Arab based such as in Sudan. Egypt was the first large scale slave country Slavs were the first “ethnic” slaves, hence the name “slav-es” they were a European people group prized for thier appearance.
