Until we hear otherwise, we believe the same countries will be ineligible for DV-2013 as in DV-2012. Ineligible countries for the calendar year 2010 were: BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, PERU, POLAND, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM were ineligible. Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Taiwan were eligible.
