What countries does Invisible Children help?
Invisible Children works in Northern Uganda where our on the ground programmes are based. Due to the nature of the war, we also work with communities in surrounding countries such as the DRC and CAR. However all of our on the ground initiatives are based in Northern Uganda. Our advocacy work is based in the USA, reaching as far as Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. How big is the Invisible Children team and how does one become a volunteer or help? We are made of a staff of about 100 in the US, 80 in Uganda and hundreds of full time volunteers across the world. We don’t have a full time staff in the UK but we are run by full time volunteers. The best way to get involved is to spread the word of Invisible Children, host your own screening of one of our films from your living room and tell your friends about the story of Northern Uganda.
