What could one say about being an International Student in Wollongong studying in their Technical Schools?
G’day, First of all, congratulation on getting the offer from Wollongong. My first suggestion will be to re-post this question in Travel – Australia – Sydney as I’m sure there are plenty of students (incl Wollongong’s) visited the site. My 2nd suggestion is for you to keep an open mind of the new and different things that you are going to encounter there. Remember, you are not only interacting with Australian culture, but also the other cultures from all over the world as there are many international students in campus as well. Try to make friends with everyone (not only your country fellowmen) as this will benefit you greatly when you graduated. Yes… there will be hard times ahead as well b’cos you are not only studying in English-speaking environment (if you are not coming from English-speaking country), but different teaching style as well (some comments below).
