What could governments do to help their small companies compete after the formation of such blocs?
You should understand that Washington is run by big lobbyists money. Washington will eventually corrupt even the uncorruptable. Big corporations use the large number of lawyer legislatures to pass favorable laws that allow them to put small companies out of business with ridiculous regulations. Just investigate what it takes to start a small business – with OSHA Regs., Environmental Regs., Health Regs., Insurance Requirements, TAXES, etc. etc. You should wonder why ANYONE would want to start a business – that you might be lucky to even get minimum wages. I am speaking truth – from experience! I know and talk to many friends/small business owners that aren’t even making Half of Minimum Wage!!!!!
