What could cause a bulging superficial vein in a babys abdomen?
My 4 month old son has a bulging superficial vein on the right hand side of his abdomen about 2 fingers in height above the naval. I had him at the doctor but wasn’t given any explanation as to a possible cause and was only told to monitor its appearance. The vein has apeared within the last 2 days only and leaves a bruised appearance on the skin.
