What could be wrong if I have chronographed the speed of my rifle and it is not at the velocity it should be?
Different conditions will affect the chronographed speed of an air rifle. The weight and shape of the pellet should be taken into consideration. A lighter pellet will increase the velocity. The above sea level altitude and temperature will also make a difference. Having all this in mind, it’s normal for consideration a variation of 5-10% depending on all conditions).
