A. Pump may be air bound. (See D.) B. Energy source is not providing enough pressure (Pneumatic or Hydraulic) to overcome system resistance. C. Contaminant has been ingested into the pump and caused failure, pump needs servicing, or replacement. D. Air pocket in Grease reservoir from pumping in air when refilling. E. Loss of bleed valve check ball when purging system incorrectly. F. Single-acting pump return spring defective or broken. G. Pump adjustment screw is turned in too far. H. Reservoir or tank is empty. I. Ruptured disc on high pressure blowout/switch equipped pumps.
