What could be good debate and diplomacy topics?

The first thing you do is logon onto the National History Day website. Read the rule book carefully. Look at the different student projects. Go to pages 10 and 11 in the theme book. Read about the theme and peruse the sample topics. Start making a list of all the things you could research that have a special interest for you and connect with the theme. Select a topic you are excited about. Read widely and HAVE FUN. Don’t worry about winning at the contest. Concentrate on learning about your topic.
