The fact that you’re seeing it from the tub suggests that it’s being blocked by the aerators from your other faucets. Try taking them off the sink and see if there’s any accumulation. It will help you determine if the problem originates right at the tub’s faucet or if it’s somewhere down the line like the water heater. If it’s just a rubber valve seat that’s breaking down, it’s relatively easy to replace. If it’s sediment in your water heater, then you may need to replace that and it could get expensive.
