What costs are eligible for support under CHIPP?

0

Eligible costs are those costs, excluding land and buildings, incurred by the contribution recipient which, in the opinion of the Minister, are necessary and reasonable to carry out the eligible activities to which they relate. Eligible costs will be limited to non-recurring costs. Eligible costs will typically include salaries for professional and technical staff, consumables, translation, materials other than equipment, technical services, telecommunications costs, project-related travel, consulting fees and other direct incremental costs incurred in meeting the project objectives. Equipment costs may be eligible but are limited to special purpose equipment such as servers, switches, transmission systems or specialized medical equipment necessary for and applicable only to the project. Common user equipment such as desk top or lap top computers, and personal digital assistants are generally ineligible. To be considered eligible, equipment must be listed in the application.
