What costs are associated with Interlibrary Loans?
Interlibrary Loans are provided at no cost to our patrons. If an item becomes overdue, the fines are $.10 a day. There is no grace period. Libraries all over the world participate in Interlibrary Loan in an effort to provide needed materials to researchers. If an Interlibrary Loan item is lost or damaged, the lending library will determine the cost charged to the patron.
Interlibrary Loan requests are charged $1.00 per request [this covers only a small part of the library’s expense].
