What costs are allowed for utility locates and potholing/coring to intrusively locate or “daylight” utilities?

Reasonable Cost Guidelines (4-7-3-) allow 8 hrs for utility locates at the Staff Scientist level (subcontractor oversight). OPS will allow an additional $500 per drilling or trenching mobilization for surface coring and/or to “daylight” utilities using methods such as air- or hydro-knifing, jetting, or other methods.
