What convictions would deny a loan officer registration?
The commissioner shall not issue a loan officer registration to any of the following: • An individual who has been convicted of, or pled no contest to, a felony or misdemeanor involving embezzlement, forgery, fraud, a financial transaction, or securities. • An individual who has been convicted of, or pled no contest to, within the 10 year period preceding the date of the application, a felony other than a felony involving embezzlement, forgery, fraud, a financial transaction, or securities.
