What contrasting monologues should I use for my first high school audition?
If you’re absolutely in love with the Salieri monologue, then you should try to find the play version of Amadeus. I’ve seen only the play and not the movie, but I’m pretty sure the monologue is almost the same. For contrast, try something that more fits your age and is comedic. gr, I can’t find any of my monologue books right now (that’s not good…) but I’m trying to find some online for you… here’s one of Schroeder’s from You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown: “I’m sorry to have to say it to your face, Lucy, but it’s true.
