What continent is India in?

Technically, India is a part of Asia; however, the land mass south of the Himalays is often referred to as the Indian Sub-continent, a smaller continent-like area with India, both Pakistans, and probably Nepal. I’m not sure what constitutes a sub-continent, rocks-wise, but any way … Indian sub-continent.

India is a subcontinent but is part of Asia… If this was Pangaea, it would be its own island, like Australia is today. The subcontinent is butting forces with the continental plate of Asia and part of Europe, causing the Himalayas.

Asia or in the middle east region but that’s not a continent
