WHAT CONSTRUCTION DEDICATION/MEMORIAL PLAQUES ARE POSTED ON THE BRIDGE?
There is a plaque on the south face of the south tower that acknowledges the names of the Officers, Past Officers, Directors, Past Directors, Engineering Staff and Contractors involved in the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is also a memorial plaque at the southern entrance to the west sidewalk that acknowledges the eleven men killed while building the Golden Gate Bridge.
