What constitutes mini, micro and standard lots?
Standard Account: 100,000 Base Currency Units. In a Standard Account, 1 standard lot equals 100,000 units. For example if the Eur/Usd is trading at 1.3000/1.3003, and you choose to buy 1 lot of Euro, it will cost USD130,030 (100,000 X 1.3003.) Mini Account: 10,000 Base Currency Units. In a Mini Account, 1 standard lot equals 10,000 units. For example if the Eur/Usd is trading at 1.3000/1.3003, and you choose to buy 1 lot of Euro, it will cost USD13,003 (10,000 X 1.3003.) Micro Account: 1,000 Base Currency Units. In a Micro Account, 1 standard lot equals 1,000 units.
