Possible offences that can be committed by an employer include: • Failing to register the company with WorkSafeBC • Deducting workers’ compensation expenses from workers’ wages • Failing to notify WorkSafeBC within three days of learning of a worker’s accident that requires health care or causes the worker to earn less than full wages or to miss time from work • Making a false statement or representation to WorkSafeBC relating to benefit entitlement • Failing to keep accurate records of all remuneration paid to employer’s workers
