What constitutes an Elective course?
An elective course is any course offered for credit at UNO that does not apply to any specific requirement (i.e. Social Science, Humanities, Major/Minor) but helps the student attain the minimum credit hours needed to graduate. The criminal justice curriculum requires a minimum of 20 credit hours of Electives. In many instances the elective hours can be used for a second minor. For specific course selection or secondary minor requirements please visit the criminal justice academic advisor.
