What constitutes a valid reason for missing an exam?
Serious illness, or a death in the family. In either case, you must notify me in advance if possible, and provide documentation (i.e., a note from the emergency room physician in the former case, and a letter from the Dean in the latter). Vacations, travel, or extracurricular activities of any sort DO NOT constitute valid reasons for missing an exam. Bottom line: plan to take all of the exams.
