What consists of handeling an ostrich farm?
Well, the adults need to be fenced off in pairs (for breeding)… and you can’t really handle them personally…. well, not ours anyways. We had an ostrich farm, where we farmed them for the meat. Their yards were plenty big… we had them fenced off, and we had wood on top of the fence in case a bird gets the urge to go over, it won’t hurt itself on the wire (one friend didn’t do that and had like 3 birds kill themselves in one year!) They also had biggest bird houses I ever saw/built to keep them from the elements… Every morning and night, we bring them their food… talk to them, keep them company for a while. Give them a ball to play with (they burst them all the time). We used to spray them with water when it got really hot outside, and when we went in their yards to get the eggs, we’d run as fast as we possibly could because they’ll kick the crap outta you and if they corner you, they can kill you. Then, we put the eggs in the house where we incubated them, and we incubate the
