What considerations are invloved in assigning parts to a Service Order?
A. If you are going to utilize the ability to enter “parts used” on a time log then it is strongly suggested that you make sure all of your pricebook items in your price book are categorized(given an item category). This will enable you to limit the amount of data that is downloaded from the server at one request. Choosing the selection “all parts” is NOT recommended unless your price book contains only a small quantity of items. Also, at this point the parts entry only supports adding “non-Assembly” type items. Open and Closed assembly items are not supported at this time. Q.
