What consideration was taken of the Amigos shared collection in establishing the TexShare collection?
The TexShare eBook collection was purchased through Amigos, and in consultation with the Amigos coordinator for this project. We decided that eBook titles selected by both collections (Amigos and TexShare) reflect areas of high need and demand. Thus, providing duplicate copies of these titles would be a service to our libraries. Libraries that participate in the Amigos shared collection have access to both the Amigos copy and the TexShare copies of duplicated titles.
