What consequences have the LIFE actions on the fauna?
As regards the wetland zones, it is expected the increase of several bird species such as the reed warbler, the water-rail and Great Reed Warbler, whose presence in the last few years had strongly been limited by the modified structure of the vegetation. Furthermore the coastal wetland zones will be especially favourable habitats to the migrant birds which, during the migrations, look for such zones made of areas with thick vegetation alternated by free stretches of water.
