A. The University of Denver is a fully accredited Division I member and a full-time member of the Sun Belt Conference. Some of Denver’s sports aren’t a part of sponsored sports of the Sun Belt Conference and are therefore members of other sports. Hockey (Western Collegiate Hockey Association), men’s soccer (Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), skiing (Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association), gymnastics (Independent), men’s lacrosse (Great Western Lacrosse League), and women’s lacrosse (MSPF) are all members of other conferences.
