What conditions can PUSH therapy treat?
PUSH therapy can treat any painful or dysfunctional condition that arises from repetitive use, overuse, or chronic muscle fatigue. It has been our experience that many cases of acute and chronic pain originate from dysfunctional muscles that become chronically tight and rigid. This is called myotonic tissue. Tight rigid tissue can: • Compress joints, creating less space in the joint. This is the source of many ankle, knee, back, shoulder, wrist and neck problems. Tight muscles that attach at joints will compress joints. Releasing the rigid tissue will create more space in the joint, which creates more mobility and frees the pain. • Press on nerves causing numbness and tingling. This can result in referred pain to the shoulders, hands, thighs, backs and feet. Supple tissue that turns rigid creates a problem for the nerves interacting with the muscles. Restore the suppleness to the tissue and numbness and tingling can be eliminated. • Compress vertebrae together resulting in spinal compr
