What conclusions were reached in the Sewage Plan?
From the 10/18/2003 Public Meeting handout sheets: We {The Engineers / DEP} recommend that the Borough construct a central sewage collection system, with conveyance to the nearest point of connection to the Mountaintop Area Joint Sanitary Authority system, located at the I-81 southbound rest area. We also recommend that Nuangola Borough apply to the Sanitary Authority for member municipality status, and the sewer system be turned over to the Authority for future operation and maintenance upon completion of construction.
