One of the required classes for music students is on the use of the music notation program “Finale.” It is not required that you own Finale but it is highly recommended if your budget allows. Student discount prices are significantly lower than full retail. Finale is frequently used for assignments in theory, counterpoint and orchestration. The music computer lab has Finale installed for use by all music students.
