What computer case is better?
Both would probably work just fine. A couple of things that I have run into when taking a computer out of a manufacturer case (such as HP or compaq) and putting it in a custom case that you might want to consider are: ATX Plate differences. There is a plate on the back of the computer around where the keyboard and mouse plugin, make sure that you have the same type of configuration available on the new case or you will be left with a big gaping hole around the connectors, which is an inlet for dust and things. Cable lengths. Sometimes, actually, most of the time; companies like dell or hp will make cables a custom lenght, to cut down on material costs… You need to make sure you either have, or know where you can get longer cables for things like floppy drives/hard drives (both ATA and SATA because CDrom’s run on ATA connectors) and audio cables.
